Warwick Castle is a medieval castle developed from a wooden fort, originally built by William the Conqueror during 1068. Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England, situated on a meander of the River Avon. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone during the 12th century.

Trebuchet at Warwick Castle

Watching the giant trebuchet at Warwick Castle send off its fireball, usually tops the list among younger visitors. It is an authentic representation of an impressive medieval weapon, once used for attacking and invading castles. The trebuchet was one of the largest and most destructive Siege machines.

Winter Birds of Prey Show

The Falconry display showcases some of the most beautiful and powerful creatures, including Harris Hawks, vultures, eagles, and owls, flying from the castle ramparts. It’s awe-inspiring to see the Falconer demonstrate the incredible skills of these spectacular and fascinating birds of prey.
