Legoland Windsor Resort, styled and also known as LEGOLAND Windsor, is a theme park and resort in Windsor, Berkshire in England, themed around the Lego brand. The park opened on 17 March 1996 and is currently operated by Merlin Entertainments. It has an ares of 61 Ha and includes 3 rollercoasters and 6 water rides.

About Legoland Windsor Resort

LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a theme park especially for children below the age of 13. The amusement park is situated in Berkshire, in England as the second LEGO park. It was after the first LEGO park, the LEGO group thought of developing the second LEGOLAND park. As it is dedicated to children, they can do a lot of fun. The park is famous for different types of rides, and it is a blissful place. Your children will like the selection of rides. 1. LEGOLAND rides for children below .9m

If your child is above 1.3 rides, you are free to enjoy any ride. However, if your child's height is below 90 cm, you must go for the following rides mentioned below.

3.  The opening and close timings for LegoLand park are 9:30 am to 6:00 pm

4. The park has toilets for disabled people, and one can hire wheelchairs at the time of need.

5. There are two main restaurants: City Walk Pizza and Pasta and pirate's Burger Kitchen.

6. The park has a coffee shop, ice cream parlour, and sweet shops for young children.

  • It was opened on 17th March 1996 for the general public and the park entertained over 1.4 million guests in its first season.
  • Ben was the first boy that entered LEGOLAND Windsor Park. The first ride was THE HILL TRAIN ride. This train ride was in Windsor Safari park before coming to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.
  • In LEGOLAND, every guest is greeted with smoke breathing dragon that is 100 kg in weight and 6 m tall.
  • The largest outdoor water play structure in the UK is Drench Towers equipped with a giant DUPLO tipping brick. It spills 1200 litres of water.
  • The two popular rides in the LEGOLAND park are The Dragon and the LEGO NINJAGO ride.
  • Canary Wharf Tower is the largest model that took 855 hours to build. It is 5.2 meters tall and has 200000 LEGO bricks.
  • Red Colored LEGO Brick is used often rather than the grey one.
  • The Miniland of the LEGOLAND has 4 metres tall Eiffel tower. This tower in Miniland weighs 150 kg and 512 hours were taken by builders in completing it.
