The Plas-yn-Rhiw Gardens has evolved as an early botanic garden now stands in the heart of cultural Wales.  It was founded in 1727 and is said to be the first garden to be created in Wales. The garden boasts various plants, including camellias, magnolias, daffodils, rhododendrons, and many other flowers. The garden is situated in the Dyffryn Gardens on the outskirts of Conwy. The Plas-yn-Rhiw Gardens are open all hours, and admission is free. Volunteers, garden staff, and students will be on hand to assist. The gardens have an abundant supply of water with a holy well still preserved. Also, a Roman camp is close to the site, which possibly inspired the garden's development.

The Garden Station is another trendy venue and one of the most visited tourist attractions in North Wales. The park has a range of beautiful gardens, world-famous for its collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, and camellias with over 4500 plants in flower with breathtaking colour and the sweetest perfume.  The steam railway offers a pleasurable experience through these beautiful surroundings for the whole family.

Dyffryn Garden, Cardiff is a  medieval manor once used as the home of the First Earl of Rhondda. The garden remains, with its ancient yew hedge and bluebells in the springtime.  It is plentifully planted with soft fruit bushes and a collection of well-known old varieties. Each Saturday morning, the garden is used by a group of craftswomen who show off their skills at selling handmade crafts. Dyffryn Garden, Cardiff, is an outdoor experience on a sunny day and is a lovely treat to enjoy when you have the time.

Burton Agnes Hall Garden is another destination worth visiting if looking for a more modern-day English garden.  George Rex built this architectural masterpiece in 1867 for his new wife, New Zealandborn Mary Glynne, who was the daughter of Lord Glynne of the  West End estate near Hitchin. Burton Agnes Hall Garden offers various gardens set around alluring scenery and is a unique wedding venue.  This garden is much smaller but equally charming as Dyffryn  Hall and is a top spot to visit in this area.

Culzean Castle and Gardens is on the list of the Best  Gardens in the UK because the castle is impressive and because the gardens at Culzean are perfectly in tune with the Scottish theme. Culzean Gardens can look beautiful in September, but the fantastic flower gardens surrounding the castle have taken it to a whole new level this year. Culzean Gardens features not your ordinary gardens but vegetable plots and many acres of nature with impressive views overlooking the ocean.  The gardens do have some amazing floral displays, including a red bedroom and the plant house. Overall, Culzean is a great place to visit year-round, but  Culzean Gardens couldn't be more beautiful in September.
